To celebrate the release of my new video, How to Plant California Native Plants (The Right Way), I’m giving away five (5) California native plants to members of our local gardening community.

Each winner will receive one 1-gallon compact white sage (Salvia apiana ‘Compacta’) - a beautiful, drought-tolerant native plant that’s perfect for California gardens.

  • If a winner does not respond by then, the prize will be awarded to the next eligible comment.

🚗 Prize Pickup (No Shipping)

Plants will not be shipped. Winners must be able to pick up their prize locally.

To keep things simple and avoid confusion, all prize pickups will be coordinated directly with me. Please don’t stop by a nursery or class expecting a plant without confirming details first.

Pickup options (by arrangement):

  • Mt. San Antonio College classes (for current students)

  • In-person meetup with me at:

    • Glendora Gardens Nursery, or

    • Armstrong Garden Center in Monrovia
      (for newsletter readers or nursery shoppers)

I’ll coordinate with each winner to arrange a convenient pickup time and location.

  • In the event of a tie, I reserve the right to select the winner
